TSA Security Procedures and Measures at UNV
TSA, which stands for Transportation Security Administration, manages and monitors about packages or bags, not available items, restricted area attendance, suspicious activities at airports, ports, train stations, and bus stops. This administration has the responsibility to check traveling public for X-ray screening.
Transportation Security Administration operates and has a helpline service, which is called TSA Cares, which tries to help air travelers, who need special operation, medical conditions, or disabilities. Those passengers have to call 72 hours before their travel to get exact information about procedures and X-ray policies. This is the recommendation by the TSA. This TSA Cares helpline operated from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m and 11 p.m.
UNV Security Checkpoints and Departure Time
Security checkpoint, which is operated by TSA, starts working from 3:45 a.m to 1:00 a.m. All passengers are asked to arrive before 90 minutes of their flight to be checked if there is any unique occasion.
Flying with Real-ID
The passenger who is aged 18 years and older will have to present a Real ID-compliant driver's license. This rule occurs from the beginning of October 1, 2020.
